Brief History

Nodule Cast (N.C.) is headed by Mr. Bharat Vyas (M.E. Foundry specialization from IISc., Bangalore). N.C is well managed, experienced organization – now with ISO 9001-2000 UKAS accredited. The company was founded in 1979 and consists of a well trained staff of ITI /DME/Graduate qualified technicians and engineers. We have developed and specialised numerous products including import substitution such as:

28 vanes Aluminium alloy Impellers.

Impellers in CI/ SG/ Bronze/ SS of closed and open types.

High Silicon cast alloy for heat and corrosion resistance e.g. pump parts, burner holders, burner plates.

Thin and long/ complex core work, hollow castings viz. Valve bodies, C.F. Pump Casings, Vibratory electrical motor bodies, Exhaust & Inlet manifolds, Bowl castings for submersible pumps.

Furnace parts - Doors that are completely assembled and refractory lined and/or hermatically sealed with high temperature view glasses, peep doors, sight doors, access doors, damper doors, Furnace grates, etc.

Acid Resistant Dip pipes.

Horizontal split type - double entry pump casing.

Heavy duty vibratory motor bodies with high fins.

All above products can be undertaken with third party inspection and / or manufacturer's guarantee and supplied with relevant testing and supporting certifications and proper documentations.

We are also into exporting and undertake all the logistics and export formalities.

We have installed an Electrical Induction melting furnace which is used in making CI, SG, SS, Steel, Aluminium and

Gravity die cast components in Aluminium Alloy.

Design, development and manufacturers patterns and dies.

Castings and parts right from sample / drawing stage.

Reverse engineering i.e. making the drawing. We have made more than 500 drawings from wornout and new parts, with material specifications and dimensional tolerances.

Material testing (Destructive and Non-destructive) viz. UT, Radiography, DP Test, Tensile tests, Chemical analysis, etc.

Consultancies and technical lectures undertaken for material selection and failure analysis.

Dynamic Balancing of rotating parts on latest machines.

Marketing of Vibratory products like Air Vibrators, Electrical vibratory motors, Bin activators, Vibrating tables for compaction, Conveyors, De-stoners (used to remove stones from grains), etc.

Engineering plastics - Nylons, Delrin, PU products, Peek and PVDF, UHMW, PP, HDPE, Teflon and composite plastics, Special grades like oil impregnated self lubricating plastics, ceramic plastic composites, Nylons for gears, etc. Metal-plastic integration is also done.

Future Plans

Future activities and plans are to improve the processes and enhance working knowledge of employees ultimately to achieve inherent reliability in the system itself.
